Summer school of the Polish language and culture

 

[Courses and studies]

This three-week course, usually organised in July, is designated both for those who intend to learn Polish and for those who wish to improve their Polish language skills. Classes are held in small homogenous groups in terms of language competence. Additional tutorials are available to students who have linguistic problems. Language sessions are in the morning and lectures on Polish history, literature and culture are in the afternoon. Organisers offer a wide variety of extracurricular activities.

The course programme entails:

  1. Polish language classes - 45 hrs.
  2. Lectures on Polish history and culture - 30 hrs.
  3. Trips to Kraków, Nałęczów, Kazimierz and Kozłówka.
  4. Complementary tickets to theatres, cinemas, museums, etc.
  5. Accommodation in a hall of residence.
  6. Meals in a students' cafeteria.

For this comprehensive residential study programme a reasonable fee of USD 800 is charged which is to be transferred to the following University bank account:
